Pilates Class (all levels)

60 MINUTES

We cater for ALL levels in our small group classes (maximum 9 clients per class) and endeavour to tailor the exercises to suit each person. We offer modifications and progressions to make exercises easier/harder depending on individual level and experience, or just how they are feeling on the day! 

We offer all beginners the opportunity to book in for a 1:1 private session with the instructor prior to joining a group class should they wish. 

Gentle Pilates (term-time)

60 MINUTES 

Term-time only - Monday 1pm-2pm

We cater for ALL levels in our small group classes (maximum 9 clients per class) and endeavour to tailor the exercises to suit each person. We offer modifications and progressions to make exercises easier/harder depending on individual level and experience, or just how they are feeling on the day! We offer all beginners the opportunity to book in for a 1:1 private session with the instructor prior to joining a group class should they wish. 

1-2-1

These are normally one hour in duration and are recommended for any new clients that have never done Pilates before and/or who have an injury or health issue that may need to be discussed further before joining a class.  They are normally taught by the teacher whose class you will be joining and cover the basics of Pilates which include alignment, breathing and centering and enables the teacher to go through specific adaptions to exercises that may be required.1-2-1

Postpartum Pilates (1-2-1)

Postpartum Pilates (or postnatal Pilates) is one of the best forms of self-care mums can do, promoting total-body alignment, better posture, and enhanced mind-body awareness of your “new” post-baby body, which work hand in hand to prevent issues like lower-back pain, as well as shoulder tightness and neck tension. The intentional deep breathing during Pilates oxygenates both the muscles and the brain, which translates to increased mental clarity and patience. The boost in circulation you’ll get from engaging in Pilates movement will energize your body from head to toe, something that proves especially helpful for sleep-deprived parents.
